Adventure Life is a travel magazine focused around the great attractions that can be found in Norway. The focus of this project was to research and understand how modern magazines were structured and then design our own from scratch. This involved looking at spacing, kerning and typography choices in off-the-shelf magazines and noting common choices between many different publications. I specifically focused on the powerful and awe-inspiring pictures that can be found in many travel magazines and the challenge of creatively incorporating graphic design elements without detracting from these images. I was similarly inspired by the clean sharp look of many travel magazines and strived to emulate that in my design style for this project.
